Jaxzen 2.7.19

Jaxzen 2.7.19

We inherited an 11 year old Dachshund, named Jakzen about 4 months ago.  The first few months, he got along well with out Lab and Great Pyrenees.  The past 2 months or so, he has been aggressive with the Great Pyrenees, and we are no longer comfortable keeping him in our house.  We strongly feel he would be great in a home as an only dog.  We have spoken with several family members and friends, and unfortunately, nobody is in a position to keep him.  Jakzen was brought to the vet back in November.  Though he was overweight and has a heart murmur, he was given a clean bill of health.  He has been on a weight control food since we got him, and he is on his way back to a healthy weight.  He loves to have his belly rubbed, and makes a great foot or lap warmer.  Currently he lives in Aurora, IL, near Waubonsie Valley High School.
