Our First Rescue of 2018

Posted

What is our New Year's Resolution? In 2018, we want to make the world a kinder, gentler place for more senior pets in need than ever before. And we're getting started doing just that by rescuing Chloe.

Chloe is a sweet blind and deaf 11 year old spaniel mix who wants nothing more than to snuggle up to you on the couch and be right wherever you are, so ending up in the shelter system was a shock to her little system. But despite her confusion at the sudden change in lifestyle, Chloe happily rolled right over for belly rubs when we met her, her tail wagging away. She was soon on her way out the door with us, on the road to being loved and cared for the way she deserves.

Chloe will need a slew of medical care to address her painful eye, severe dental disease, urinary tract infection, and mammary masses, but whatever veterinary care and TLC she needs, she will get. And that is thanks to amazing people like you who donate to Young at Heart to help homeless senior pets like Chloe enjoy their golden years.

If part of your New Year's Resolution is also to make the world a kinder, gentler place, join us by helping more seniors like Chloe! Sign up to be a Constant Companion by pledging just $10 a month: http://www.adoptaseniorpet.com/how-you-can-help/constant-companion
