Willow is Waiting...
Sweet little Willow (front) has been waiting forever for a home of her own. The main reason is that someone in her previous life never took the time to socialize her with other animals. She spent the first seven years of her life as an only dog with little to no contact with other dogs. Willow can't go to adoption events because she's just not good with strange dogs. She doesn't get them. But Willow's foster family has been determined to socialize her, and so ever so slowly, she has been exposed to a very calm dog, and dog savvy cats. And as you can see, Willow is learning that other animals aren't necessarily something to worry about! She might still be happiest in a home without other dogs, but she could live with a very patient and wise dog now, and she now totally ignores kitties. Willow has come a very long way, and we're so proud of her. We're also so thankful to her most patient foster parents and canine foster sibling for their oodles of patience in teaching Willow that other animals can be ok. She's such a sweet, smart, funny little dog, and we love her to pieces!
Willow is located in the NW suburbs of Chicago. Her adoption fee is $175. Out of state adopters welcome with a stellar veterinary reference, but you must come here to meet her. She would do best in a quiet, adult home, but she loves to play, snuggle, and just hang out with you. We know the perfect home is out there for her. Is it you?
