Gray and White
24 years

I'm Ora, a 24 year old kitty. Yes, that's not a typo, I'm really 24 years old. I ended up at animal control at age 23 when my owner no longer wanted to care for me because I was urinating outside my box. Well, that's no reason for a sweet old girl like me to spend my last days on earth in a cage! So Young at Heart rescued me, and I am doing really well! And guess what? I had a urinary tract infection! And since that's all cleared up, I'm using the litterbox like a good girl again. I'm eating like a piggy, and I am a happy and beyond sweet old gal. My bloodwork is good, but I do have a bump on my face that xrays revealed is some sort of tumor. It may have been there for a very long time, but it is something that cannot be treated, especially at my age. It doesn't really bother me, so I am living out my days being loved on, watching out the windows at the birds and squirrels, sleeping on heated beds, and getting all the love I can handle. I'm so grateful to have a soft place to land that is full of love and comfort in the twilight of my life I just celebrated my 24th birthday! Yay, me!
