Thanks for your interest in helping the animals at Young at Heart. There are many ways for groups and individuals to help us serve animals. Some ideas include:

  • Host a fundraiser, like a bake sale or car wash, to benefit Young at Heart.
  • Organize a supply drive to collect the things we need most from our wish list.
  • Host a group craft-making project to make toys, no-tie blankets, or snuffle mats.

Donated items can be brought to the lobby of Young at Heart during regular business hours. No appointment is necessary.

Youth groups are also welcome to schedule a tour of one of our facilities at the time they bring in their donations. Tours last approximately 45 minutes and there is a $1 per person fee for tours, with a $20 minimum. Special reservations are required for all tours.

Scout & Youth Group Tours include: a history of Young at Heart, a tour of our adoption areas, learning about helping older animals and appropriate animal interactions, and meeting a Young at Heart pet. Tours last approximately 45 minutes.
