Young at Heart's sanctuary dogs are permanent residents due to complex medical or behavioral needs and are not available for adoption.

Hi there! I'm Gia, and snuggling and napping are my favorite past times! I love snoozing in a sunny window in a snuggly bed, getting gentle pets, and keeping you company. I am good with other quiet kitties like myself, and really good with cat friendly dogs. I became a sanctuary kitty after being diagnosed with cancer. I have received treatment, but the cancer is a kind that will come back, so I am monitored carefully. I feel good right now, and everyone makes sure that I am comfortable and happy. Every day I am spoiled rotten and loved beyond words. I could have months or years ahead of me, and either way Young at Heart will make sure that they are the best months or years of my life. Thank you for supporting the sanctuary program so that being diagnosed with cancer isn't the end for me!
